CANVASSING IN FARGO ND

While canvassing in Fargo North Dakota God taught me He is always taking care of His children. My canvassing location was twelve o’clock PM at a gas station. As I was canvassing, I realized everyone kept rejecting me. As a result, I started feeling discouraged; nevertheless, I continued to try to reach someone because I knew God had put me there for a reason.

I canvassed another person, he rejected me. He left and I decided to sit on a curb to rearrange my books, pray for the others on my team, and again ask God to work through me to reach at least one person. While I was sitting on the curb a truck pulls up and the guy asked me, “Are you a Christian?”, I tell him, “Yes, I am”. Next he proceeds to tell me that I had canvassed him fifteen minutes earlier and after he left God impressed him to return and share a large donation with me. Then he proceeded to tell me a short story of what God has been doing in his life. In the months before our meeting the Lord has been giving him some money and telling him it was not for him. In fact, as time went on the Lord would impress him to give the money to certain people he meets. Thus he puts the money in his pocket and forgets about it until God shows him the person the money was for. This time I was the person, and just before we parted ways we prayed for each other, and I gave him a Great Controversy. Thus I got to see God work in the canvassing field which was a great blessing.
