Just Keep Walking
It was a usual day, with the sun shining and the light breeze keeping me company. As I was canvassing my head and my back started to hurt. So many different thoughts came to my mind, but soon one grew the loudest, “Just stop, and give up.” I wrestled with this thought, but I have in and called my leader to pick me up. He told me to do my stretches ( because this pain had bothered me before) . That is not what I wanted to hear. After waiting for a couple of minutes I was convicted to keep on walking. So hesitantly I did. Now I was standing in front of a door waiting for something to happen, but nobody seemed to have heard my knock. Just then the door swung open and a mother came out. She asked me, “What I was doing, how old I was, what school I went to?” Her questions seemed to have no horizon. Through our conversation we learned how both of our families have a passion for natural medicine and healing. Then she asked her final question, “What is your goal"?” I looked at her and said, “To share these books and help those in need.” Then she simply went inside, came out with a donation, and choose six books. I learned something very important that day. Don’t give up even if you are tired, keep going. God always has something spectacular waiting for you. He is faithful and He will equip those He calls.
